Renovation plumbing in Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo

Bathrooms, kitchens and basements — drains and supply roughed in right, so tile and drywall only go on once.

Renovation plumbing is where the sequence matters. We work from your layout — or your contractor's — to relocate drains and vents, run new supply, set the rough-in for each fixture to the manufacturer's spec, and pressure-test before anything is closed in. Then we come back for the finish: toilets, faucets, valves, shower systems and appliances.

Older Guelph homes bring their own set of questions: galvanized supply that should be replaced while the walls are open, cast-iron stacks, undersized venting, and basements with no rough-in at all. We'll flag what's worth doing now while access is cheap.

We coordinate with contractors, tile setters and inspectors as a matter of course, and we pull permits where required.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do you work with my contractor?

Yes — most renovation work comes through contractors and designers, and we're used to fitting into their schedule and their site.

Can you add a bathroom in a basement with no drains?

Usually. Depending on the depth of the main drain, that's either a gravity connection through the slab or a sewage ejector system. We'll look at what's there and tell you which.

Does renovation plumbing need a permit?

Adding or relocating fixtures generally does in Ontario. We handle the application and the inspections.
