Drain cleaning in Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo

Slow or blocked kitchen, bathroom, floor and main drains cleared — and the cause named, so you know whether it's a one-off or something worth fixing properly.

A drain that backs up is a symptom. Kitchen lines clog with grease and scale; bathroom lines with hair and soap; main lines with roots, sagging sections or, in older Guelph neighbourhoods, clay pipe that has shifted at the joints. We clear the blockage first, then tell you what caused it.

For a single fixture that's slow, the fix is usually mechanical clearing at the trap or through the cleanout. For a main line, we clear from the nearest access point and, where it makes sense, recommend a camera inspection so you can see the pipe's condition rather than guess at it.

We don't sell drain chemicals and we don't recommend them. They damage older pipes, they rarely reach the real blockage, and they make the next plumber's job dangerous.

FAQ

Straight answers

My drain keeps clogging every few months. Why?

A drain that reclogs on a schedule usually has a physical problem — a belly in the line, a rough joint catching debris, roots, or a section of pipe that's breaking down. Clearing it again buys time; a camera inspection tells you what you're actually dealing with.

Do you camera-inspect drains?

Where it's useful, yes. For a main line that has blocked more than once, seeing the pipe is far cheaper than guessing. Ask when you call.

Is a backed-up floor drain an emergency?

If water is coming up a basement floor drain, stop running water in the house and call. It usually means the main line is blocked, and every load of laundry adds to the problem.
