Plumber in Fergus and Elora

Twenty minutes north of Guelph up Highway 6, Fergus and Elora are as much a part of our regular route as the city itself.

Centre Wellington has two kinds of plumbing work. In the villages, it's the limestone and brick houses along the Grand — beautiful, old, and often still carrying original supply lines, cast-iron drains and additions plumbed in three different eras. Renovation rough-ins, stack replacements and bringing an old kitchen or bathroom up to code are the bulk of the work there.

Outside the villages, most properties are on private wells and septic. That means iron filters, sulphur treatment, UV and softeners sized for the specific well, plus pressure tanks, well-pump connections and the drain considerations that come with a septic system. We size treatment from a water test, not from a brochure.

Both towns are on municipal wells and, like Guelph, the water is hard. Water heaters and softeners are steady work in the newer subdivisions on the edges of Fergus.

FAQ

Fergus & Elora questions

Do you work on well and septic properties?

Yes. Well-water treatment — iron, sulphur, hardness, UV — and the plumbing side of pressure tanks and pumps are regular work in Centre Wellington. We work with your septic contractor where the two overlap.

Do you take renovation work on older stone homes?

Yes, and we like it. Old houses reward careful planning — we'll walk the job with you before quoting so there are no surprises when the walls open.

Have a project in mind?

Walk us through it — you'll get a clear answer on cost and timing.
